The Dry Creek Airpark community is located in the high desert of Central Oregon and is comprised of 42 home/hangar sites ranging in size between 1 to 2.5 acres along with several acres of common area. We have a well-maintained, paved, lighted, 3000’ runway. DCA is a gated community with underground utilities. You can fly almost year-round with our wonderful high desert climate. If you need a little extra exercise on a beautiful day why not try out our tennis/sports court or take a hike along Dry Creek and enjoy the beautiful views around the airpark?
DCA is home to many types of aircraft including experimental, antique, high wing, low wing, and light twin (see photo gallery). The elevation of Dry Creek Airpark is 3,625’ and the airport identifier is OG21.
We are close to all the outdoor activities one could want whether it be FLYING, golfing, hunting, biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, or snowshoeing on Mt. Bachelor, river rafting, kayaking or even rock climbing. Our hometown of Prineville combines the best of small town life: friendly people, a leisurely pace, community members who care about each other and their community, and no traffic (except on the opening day of hunting season).
Dry Creek enjoys the dry climate of the high desert. Sunny days, low humidity and cool nights characterize the semi-arid climate. Like all of Oregon east of the Cascades, our weather is generally characterized by bright sunshine, warm to hot days and cool nights in the summer, and sunny days and cool to cold temperatures in the winter.
Dry Creek Airpark is an aviation paradise.
