Medical & Emergency Services
We are pleased to say that Dry Creek’s airstrip is utilized by both Air Link Critical Care Transport and Life Flight www.lifeflight.org to provide transport for seriously ill or injured patients for neighboring communities and Dry Creek Airpark. Both of these services work together with our local EMS, fire departments and the hospital.
The local fire department is located at 12051 SE Juniper Canyon Road and is just 3.8 miles up the road from us to provide both EMS and fire protection needs. The main fire department center is located in town, approximately 10.5 miles away.
The St. Charles Prineville Hospital (541-447-6254) opened in September 2015 and is only 20 minutes from us. It is a Trauma Level IV, Critical Access Hospital and is a member of the St. Charles Health System, headquartered in Bend.
